Got myself a fine instance of ArtRage Studio Pro recently... Had to try it out. And of course I chose my current obsession (namely Yoite) as a practice subject.
Just a quick sketch, nothing special.
P.S.: He still does not look like himself on my drawings. Darn.

Anyway... this is gorgeous!! I love they way you drew the tear and the coloring is superb! I love Yoite and this is a beautiful drawing of him!

I always wonder why in the anime Miharu did not use his "all-powerful" technique to help. He said he could change history so Yoite would not become a Kira user, but if Shinrabanshou was really as powerful as everybody said it was then Miharu could at least heal him, couldn't he? I don't know if Shinrabanshou allowed bringing back the dead though.

Yes it is, I read chapter 67 and it tells what Mihru's mother did, she brought Miharu back alive when he was killed. (Not going to say who.) But it is possible. So if Miharu suddenly remembers Yoite he probably could bring him back.

yeah me too, but what has recently happened is making me angry the fact that they are trying to remove it out of Mirahu makes me even more sad and depressed. If they don't bring back Yoite I am going to be veeery angry. lol

Hmmm, I really can't agree. He has a bit of that look that he had towards the end. That fragile beauty, as his life is truly draining away, and he's utterly exhausted. Then again...everyone says I made him look older too, so I might be biased.

This is just my very first try with it, and I don't know my way around AR Studio much at the moment... But I already like it more than I do Photoshop.
Don't know much about Sai though. Is it better?

Hmmm no I wouldn't say anything is better. It really depends on how you are comfortable. For example, I really liked ArtRage's interface (was the same beauty even on my PC - I first tried it on MAC) compared to Sai.
But I don't know, there is something about Sai that just drives me so happy. The painting feeling is wonderful (especially with the Water color brushes). You can try it for 30 days if you're curious.
Honestly, I am an Adobe girl, but I can't let myself go with Photoshop as much as I can with Sai. If you're curious, I gathered some info on tools not long ago. Mostly links and stuff: [link]
