Description I did this tiny (2 inches tall!) David Tennant as a gift for a girl in a crafting swap. She's making something super secret for my boyfriend, and I'm sending this and another portrait to her. ~toyah13 did the picture that I used as a reference for stitching this up.

All I have to say is OMG TINY STITCHES. I managed to stab myself with the needle several times and somewhere under that hair is a nice bloodstain. TT______________TT

Ha ha, yeah. Embroidery is kind of like painting, you can partially blend floss colors and each stitch is like a brush stroke. I think it would be pretty fun to do a series of stitches based on portraiture.

I think it would be, its so pretty. At least you'll have the memories and needle pricks to hold onto.
