D'aww!! Cute! I love Yuki as a character.Β She's just so awesome.Β Personally, I think she goes perfectly with Kyon in Vanishment.

I've always thought she was kinda cool, it was until "Vanishment" when I really fell in love with the character,(note, the novel didn't hit me as hard as the movie, probably it was because of the song that plays on the credits, just two other anime movies have make me feel something like that); both Yuki and Haruhi are great characters, but honestly I would like to see Yuki have her happy ending, what bugs me is that the author doesn't seem to have any intention to continue the story, which really sucks.Β

I'm more talking about the manga, Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan.Β But the movie was also cute.Β I actually have the movie on DVD.Β It really is adorable.Β The expressions Yuki shows just add a whirlpool of character.Β Actually, in the manga, they do go back at one point to that time because they have to fulfill what Kyon saw right after he got stabbed.Β Kyon got stabbed and the future Kyon came back with Yuki and brought everything around.Β What song did they play in the movie credits? Not sure I remember.Β Haruhi is alright, but she just isn't quite as interesting as Yuki.Β You know, Haruhi may have changed a little bit since the beginning, but she's still a selfish bitch most of the time (Don't get me wrong, her antics are endlessly amusing, but she is a selfish bitch).Β Yuki on the other hand, made the perfect protagonist of the spinoff manga, if not of the movie (in which Kyon was the primary protagonist).

I know Haruhi can be an annoying jerk, but the audience demonizes her too much, one of the things I want to explore in my story is what a truly malevolent god-like entity would do to the Haruhiverse, but that will take time.

I know.Β Haruhi isn't as bad as people make her out to be.Β I just personally find her kind of annoying, and Sasaki's crew is bizarre, kind of mean and odd, and Sasaki isn't exactly normal, herself.Β Maybe the world needs an actual bad guy. Β
