This would have been EPIC to see in the clone wars series after Savage was killed in front of him. Maul goes to find the twi'lek (honestly don't know much about her) and they team up.

There is some controversy over Talon that i don't really understand, something about that she wasn't alive a that time, but this game could have been something, damn you EA.

Well, we don't know the plot of the game. Talon lived 100 years after the old trilogy. But maybe that was Maul who ment to move in the future. Maybe via hibernation like Darth Krayt.

I think that game was supposed to include Maul's origin. But as you could see in the trailer, Maul had his artificial legs. So the game was supposed to include also the events from Clone Wars or after them.  Maybe also some future events, like those with Talon?

Battle of the sith lords was meant to have a clone of Maul, (or a descendant of Maul) come back into star wars as a continuation of his story, and aid Talon amongst the in-fighting of the sith. A story had not yet been created for the game, but everyone had this idea of why it was Maul would even make this fight his business. It was revenge on the sith for abandoning the sith rule of two, and allowing the sith descend into chaos. Such disrespect and utter disregard for what had made the sith strong, would have been why it was Maul sought out these so called sith, and would want to destroy them for their weakness and arrogance. He would bring back the sith order with Talon, and help arise a new empire.....but it was sadly not meant to be.
