"Only the dead have seen the end of war." -Β George Santayana, Spanish-American philosopherJust've been studying the story of XXth century, since I have to make a project about Wermacht's african campaign, and remembered the First World War... again... Well, actually, "Pawns of War" by Miracle of Sound served as the main inspiration for this pic, but still. And what is the most famous aspect of WW1? Yeah, the first tanks, but I'm talking about something else. Yeah, the gas, but still not right. Yeah, the trenches... Bayonet charges. I'm talking about the bayonet charges. And I always thought, why it couldn't happen in Star Wars or any other sci-fi universe? I mean, yes, they've got weapons with longer effective range and different machine guns... But if you've got the armor that can't be destroyed even with a lightsaber, why don't you try, at least? Oh, anyway, enjoy the pic!

I've actually tried to make the gun with a bayonet that you've used in this image in Blender but it all breaks when you unpack it

Just realized how odd it is we never see blasters with bayonets (I think?)...
I've also been meaning to ask, how do you get your screenshots so...high res? Do you use something other than the in-game Camera tool?

Heh, I hope one day we'll see something like that. I believe that a steel knife is still good against flesh, even in time of plasma and starships
As for resolution, it is only my monitor. It is 1920x1200 as you could see, and I don't use anything except the camera tool and Super DoF

True still I trust them more then the CIS given it's current leadership. While the Republic is not perfect and has a lot of problems, at least you know where you stand with Jedi.
