I've finished all my GD entries for this year, so, purely out of boredom (and the fact that this model comes with your ticket), I decided to paint up the Games Day model. I only changed the hair cut, as the one he comes with makes him look a bit like the Fresh Prince, and I always prefer monks' tonsures to that sort of frippery.

I decided on a red and black paint scheme, as I need lots of practice doing those colours. I also tried to push the contrast much further and to enhance the zenithal lighting.

Over all, I must say that I think he's my best work to date, and is currently on my list of models to take off to Salute next year, but we'll see what I'm up to then.
