i mecha i did before going to bed. took me 3 hours or something..... man ill be totally tired at work!!
got inspired by s recent color choices and s works

I think growing up on comics helped me with a lot of anatomy, gesture, and composition, and probably drawing transformers faces helped with facial planes, but life drawing and face studies is definitely irreplaceable!
How did you get so good at mechanized drawing? I too grew up on legos btw (I think I read you said that once lol)

i was into cartoons that much that comics didnt catch on me at all... in addition i even wouldnt be able to effort such hobby. i didnt get much pocket money 
i was drawing a bit. but i didnt practice it at all. so i ended up with a thin sketch book with anime figures. it was the time i tried out my brothers little cheap graphic tablet. i was so amazed. " i can paint with colors as much as i want! i can experiment and doodle around and it wouldnt cost a thing" :i thought back then. well then i realized tht there were great digital artists out there. i came across FENG ZHU and was stunned. ever since i tried to visualize my own sci fi fantasies

I love how the lighting and that monstrous, feral claw is combined with what would normally be a slick and well-oiled looking mecha. Gives it much more attitude. Very nice!
