Having spent most of her childhood with her siblings, Chiku doesn't remember much of her parents. She knows her mother is dead but her father is a hushed secret. She doesn't know that her father was the one to strike a killing blow to her mother nor that her older siblings were the ones to attack their own father in revenge.

Her earliest memories are of travelling with her siblings as they roamed the land. Her older siblings did what they could for her littermates and each other but being young themselves they weren’t fully finished with what training their parents have given them. The large sibling "pride" managed to stay afloat as the group worked together to survive. Out of her siblings, the calm and collected Kuende was the main sibling she grew closest to. Her older sister always knew what to say and made everyone feel safe. From the moment she could speak she would pester her sister with questions about the world and how things worked. Thankfully, Kuende was patient enough to handle the chatterbox cub.

A few months in their rouge lifestyle, Kuende learned about the Mwanzo prinde. Not wanting to risk life as a struggling rouge anymore, she told Chiku of the new possible home in store for them if she wanted to join her. Excited about the idea, Chiku eagerly latched on to the idea but when the day came to leave her siblings behind, Chiku hesitated. The true weight of the situation finally dawned on her. The "pride" was her home and was all she had known. Could she really leave them?

As she watched her Kuende leave the "pride", Chiku knew what she wanted. With a determination flowing through her, she raced after the fading form. Today, she enters a new chapter in her life!
