Lira MacLean's story is a tragic one, in life she was the daughter of a struggling children's writer and was helping her father make ends meet and to support the family. Then one day thugs from her fathers employer barged in to their home demanding pay and when her father could not give them the money they killed him, then her brother and finally herself then burned the family home to the ground, on the day of the Violet Hour. A shard would land in the burning home and expose Liras body with the strange energy, transforming her into a ethereal ghost like altered human who can phase through walls, fly, dissapear, telekinesis, sonic scream and the power to possess people. Driven by revenge Lira vowed to hunt down the people who took her family from her and make them all suffer, a personal quest for retribution that has become all consuming. Now she walks the thin line between good and evil as she haunts the criminal world as White Spectre.
