You capture the drama and history through everything, even the sky seems to tell the story. I love it XD

my father has a model of the Victory, which is a slightly bigger ship than this one.

Very beautiful, the colors are amazing The way you've painted it makes me think to the impressionist movement... How much measures the painting ? It seems to be a big one...

This is an awsome piece..I know it was a hard life for a sailor back then, but it just makes you want to be there onboard seeing the world..
My Grandad was a sailor during the war on HMS Achilles and would tell us of his travels..so I love seeing work like this..

Thanks. Something else we have in common, one of my grandads was a petty officer on Motor Torpedo Boats. I had quite a thing for ships when I was growing up.

Is HMS Victory more powerful compared to this one?

Victory has 104 guns, so yes.

You see and express the beauty of ships as well as you do women and cathedrals, which is interesting because they are three different things that all take the same pronouns ("she" and "her"). I like the quiet, stately peace and nobility you've given this. He and his ship already know they're going to win the battle, or they have already won it... --Faile35
