I did notice it was looking a bit Egyptian as I was doing it, although I didn't necessarily intend it to be that, and meant to go more for Greco-Roman, if anything. I thought about turning it into Nefertiti. Would need heavier lidded eyes. The baldness is adding to the Egyptian-esque look, and it may stay like that, although I'd originally intended hair. Trouble with hair is it tends to contextualise a figure since it has to have a particular style, detracting from a timeless look...

That's true, though I suppose you could try and go with a pretty "timeless" hair style. I.e. something like plain long hair. Though I do like the bald look too.
