All your mermaids are just downright gorgeous! Their long sinuous tails are superbly drawn and the extra little fins that adorn them are nice. This mermaid of yours, however, is definately my favorite because you've added gills and finger webbing. I think those traits really add to the exotic aquatic look of a mermaid and you really did a number on her finger webbing showing it stretched and taut between her splayed fingers. I would really like to encourage you to consider keeping that feature on your future mermaid artwork!! The gills, too!! Those small frilly fins on her tail would match up nicely with some of similar design on her forearms as well. I hope to see more exotic fishies from you soon!!!

Thanks for the thoughts. I don't like them over-fishyfied but I'll bear that in mind. What I really don't like, though, are mermaids with knee-bends- as though they have human leg bones. They should be bendy!

My sentiments exactly! I think you have a great balance of the human and the aquatic. First off, your human half depictions are absolutely gorgeous! And like I said, the extra little fins, gills and finger webbing show that the upper half has its base in aquatic form as well. And the 'bendy' tails are a MUST!! I sooo love your mermaids...and hope to see more populate your little grotto here!!
