It always warms my heart to see one the Cromwells and the (F@#$ING) Roundheads missed.

I can't find the specific reference (I searched for a blasted hour), but there exists in the Vatican arcive a rough draft of a Papal Bull that would have acknowleged an anullment to Cathrine, but her nephew looking over his shoulder prevented it. I have to wonder, why did Henry not offer the Pope amnisty from Spanish threats in exchange for the annulment?

Because Henry was king of England and Italy was full of German soldiers...

Hessian soldiars I suppose, selling themselves to the highst bidder, or did that start only after the Reformation? At any rate, I have to wonder what Henry would have made of the draft, and if it would have effected his latter opinions on the Papacy.

I don't think Oliver Cromwell actually destroyed any churches, though some of the puritans toppled the odd cross and decapitated the odd stone saint in their zeal for the Ten Commandments.
Thomas Cromwell in the time of Henry VII oversaw the destruction of the monasteries but that was it. There was more iconolasm in the intervening time of Edward VI.

Oh, I like! The colours, the scenery. It could almost be a view from my home region...
Somehow I think the perspective is interesting too, but I can't be more specific...
Nice work!

The perspective is a bit eccentric, but it adds to the atmosphere, hopefully...

Well true enough, but sometimes you just need a Montenegro or a French Alps.
