That looks like one painful transition, the soul/spirit seems to be in great pain and or horror. I love the large light beam emerging from the body laid on the stone. The character that seems to be doing this is very dark and some what eery in appearance, the streaked hair suts the dark character very well. The clouds in the upper right spot seem to have faces in them, like demonic images. Did you put them there are is it just the way the clouds look? Either way, this adds even more depth to the Atmosphere. Which i must say is extremely dark and very intense. Very impressive work

Yes there is some small detail like you already saw, the soul knows that the end is near and the soulreaper (the girl in the black) has to find with the resisted of this.
The deamons are here and waiting fo suck the life. The clouds are textures, it was something like water and the took this looking after 20 layers
