Since I joined Deviantart I've never understood the reason why so many people hate Bubsy. Because is a platformer? Because has bad controls? Because is similar to Sonic the Hedgehog?

I admit that I'm not a fan of this game series, but I've NEVER hated it either. I've been playing worse video games in the last few years: Call of Duty, Just Dance, Madden NFL, Yooka-Laylee, Assassin's Creed, FIFA, Mass Effect 3, Need for Speed, SimCity... And the worst thing is to see all the hate arts on DA killing Bubsy, they even abuse using good and neutral characters to bully or even murder the cat. This is just a game series for kids! This already finished the series in 2017, never had a remake, sold few products, even the creator himself abandoned the project.
