Able to endure much and adapt herself to the worst situations she quickly realized what was the right thing to do after the raven queen conquered the kingdom. To join the Shadow Alliance and so she did.
Loyalty is always a thing you can not 100% sure off around this doe, except you are a special someone to her. She's first and foremost loyal to herself only. However Eris is really good in faking loyalty to others.
Even though she's ugly per austerian standard (not silver, not brown, not red, what the hell?) she sees herself as beautiful and does not wish that anybody corrects her in this believe.

After the fall of the Shadow empire Eris grew cautious and distrustful towards almost everybody. You can never know if a former comrade was now a foe. History:

Born to an unimportant duchess and a even more unimportant duke into their small tree house as seventh child. Eris grew up being just one of many. However the hind already showed that she was ambitious at early age, being interested in politics far more than she should.
Her mother tried to push her towards the guard after she showed first signs off growing herself a stone rack, she could be guard to a princess or maybe even one day to the queen. However being some other austerian royal's guard did not interest her at all. She wished for influence, for a small grain of power.

It was around the age of 9 that Eris got caught in a fight with another doe and broke one of her tines in the duel.

After countless years living a life as just a number something happened that gave Eris a new perspective in her life and made dreams she once had to some degree reachable.
Her birth herd has been taken over by those called Shadows of the Mire and their queen took the throne and crown of Auster as her own.
Seeing how the crownprincess fleed, how the herd has been taken prisoner in it's whole it was clear for Eris. She would join the shadow alliance, for her own advantage and maybe for the grain of power she could snatch over this new position.

For a few years everything went well for her.
She rose in the ranks of the shadows quickly and became a full fledged raven in no time by taking part in each of their battles. When she met the Witch Jezebel they found liking in eachother and became something like mates and after saving her for a shadow who wanted to claim her, the silver doe Lady Guin became part of her 'harem' as well.
They moved into Guin's tree house and made it their home where they lived until the Shadow Empire got shattered by the enemies combined forces and the saraphs betryal. Not wanting to submit to this pityful excuse of a queen (blessed or not) and not trusting in her promise of mercy, Eris chose to flee with Jezebel and Guin, picking a lost shadow baby up on their way.

She lead them up to the shores of Lake Vesta where she gave birth to her son and now resides and hides from Cadhara's guards...or plainly ambushes them if she can.
