Description

Vinnies hands are shaking uncontrollably and he looked around the corner. Nothing. She is gone, for now. His grip on the gun loosened and he sighed, easing off the trigger, "Okay... Everyone still in one piece?" There are a few mumbles of reply but otherwise, you notice, the group is unusually silent. But the silence was broken by a loud sob.
"H-HIS PIECES NOT!!" Cindy wailed, unmoving from the place she had been put down. Kate immediately came up to comfort her, checking her over for wounds. But this clearly wasn't what she wanted, as she cried out, "NO, HIM!!" You turn your attention to Chris, who is leaning against the wall. He looks quite pale, and is hyperventalating quietly. A spear is sticking out of his shoulder, blood dripping off the tip and landing on the ground in a small puddle. The spear is coated in blood, it looks to have passed all the way through his arm. Yet if the little girl had not pointed it out, no one would have noticed at all. With everyone looking at him, Chris merely offers a small shrug.
"Oh meh gawd-- WHAT DA HELL?" Chester yells, looking completely horrified.
"Everyone just calm down! We can handle this, but you can't yell-" Vinnie tries to calm down the situation, but it is clearly far to late for that. Kate tries to gently remove the spear but stops when Chris winces in pain. "Oh dear... It's really deep in there...", she comments, softly.
"I don't think you should try to remove it."
"I don't think we can remove it. It's lodged in his shoulder really deep. It looks to have gone through his bone too.."
"What else we gonna do?! Leave it in there? It'll lead her right to us!!"
"It's not like we can leave him behind, though! We have to think of something!"
You turn your attention away from the injured boy, watching the two brothers argue. Amidst there bickering, a loud slice cuts through the air. You look back at Chris, now holding the bloody spear in his hand. He drops it to the ground, blood running down his arm and gushing out of his now open wound. In a few seconds, whatever strength he had left seemed to drain with the blood. He collapses to the ground. Kate's eyes widen and she covers her mouth, "O...Oh my god..."
"How did you- I-- What??" Vinnie was at a loss for words. You notice there is a stray chunk of bone on the spear, and a few pieces of muscle. Kate's assesment appears to be right.
"Does anyone have some wraps, or something- anything to cover it up??" Kate glances around the group, almost pleading for help. Carl raises his hand, "Maybe he can use my apron?"
"It's too big. It'll just fall off. And we can't cut off a piece of it, we don't have anything to cut it with." Vinnie rejects the idea, pacing back and forth.
Chester is watching as Kate helps Chris back up, leaning him against the wall. She tries to stop the bleeding but it's uneffective. He creeps up next to him, sitting down beside him. He looks to be thinking something over, debating in his head. Chris picks up the book, seeming to be looking for empty pages to use to clog the bleeding. This is enough to end whatever mental debate he's having, and Chester stops him. He unties his bandana and wraps it around the wound in his shoulder.
"There. That'll work fine. It was... kinda slightly meh fault ya'll got hurt anyway. Ya clearly need it more then me too, dork." He stumbles through his words, before finally getting to seemingly the point, "Aah'm.. sorry for that." he looks away. Chris just stares at him with a blank expression and then smiles slightly, giving him a thumbs up. He signs, ["Wow, you are you? Apologizing for being stupid?"] Chester rolls his eyes and Chris laughs. Cindy runs up to Chris, giving him a big hug.
"I-I'm so sorry!! You got really hurt for me, it gave you a big owie!!"
Chris jumps in surprise, but hugs her softly. He pats her on the head in a reassuring fashion.

I know, this story thing is super long but I included it in the og post so might as well here. They are reffered to as there actual names here. I know it's been awhile since I posted, but I'll explain in a journal as this is already really long. If it isn't clear, Vinnie is Justice, Kate Integrity, Cindy Patience, Carl Kindness, Chris Perseverance and Chester Bravery.
