Oh yeah, I am aware of the recent discoveries of the screenshots and magazine pages, really amazing to see that stuff is still being discovered about the game (and who knows how much is left yet to find).

I heard a rumor once that in the Earthbound 64 development that one of the creators wanted to put a scene where Flint becomes an alcoholic and" accidently" hits his son.

Holy heck, if that rumor is true, it’s super dark o_o like I know the game was originally supposed to be much darker than what we have, but geez.
