"A female pegasus pony from the struggling colony of Appleosia, pilot of the SESEV Equestria.
When Bucky's mother ran out on her and her dad while she was just a little filly, her understandably-irked father saw the little filly that she left him all alone with and, still clouded by grief and anger, named her "Buck" (not only is that a colt's name, but it also has several...meanings, in Equestria).
The teasing that resulted from this unfortunate name didn't bother her, and instead made Bucky develop a forward, friendly, and homely attitude. She treats everybody like she's known them for years. Some ponies think this is rude.
Before she heard of the Equestria Project, she preoccupied her free time by flying as high as she could. While this is partly because it's her dream to go to space, she also hopes of breaking her mother's personal altitude record.
Naturally, she jumped at the chance to fly the Equestria when she heard about the mission."
