-Takes place after TLO, before TLH, Percy and Annabeth WEREN'T dating.-

I giggled as Percy made a funny face at me from his table. I loved that idiot, for some unknown reason, and the Aphrodite girls knew it, making kissy faces at us, but we didn't care. To Percy...we were just friends. Best friends. ...Right?
After dinner, I was still at the Athena table, sketching a blueprint for Apollo's statue. It was the summer after the second Titan War, and I was almost done re-designing Olympus, except for Apollo's temple, Hera's temple, and a few mistakes I had to fix.
I felt strong arms wrap around my waist from behind, as I stood, trying to figure something out, and I blushed, dropping my blueprints to look at who the mystery man behind me was. I smelled his musky scent of seawater and Axe: Dark Temptations (Which really is tempting), to see Percy Jackson, and his almost flawless face. His black shaggy hair was on his forehead by now, and his sea green eyes twinkled, as he smiled a hero's smile, a loyal and inviting smile.

"Hey, Annabeth." He said smoothly.

I leaned back into him, knowing this was wrong for "just best friends", but liking it too much to stop him.

"Hey." I smiled up at him.

He twirled one of my blonde curls in his index finger.

"So, whatcha designin'?" He looked at my blueprints, obviously not comprehending what I was working on.

I just smiled at his cuteness, and replied.

"A statue for Apollo...I'm almost done, then I got to work on Hera's, fix a few mistakes on some other things, and Olympus is officially finished."

"'Cept for building it." He replied.

"True, true." I agreed. "But that's not my field of work."

"Hmmm...So...."

"So....?"

"So, your smart, right?"

I laughed.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain."

"Then, Wise Girl," He continued, "Can you explain something to me?"

I nodded.

"Sure."

"So....My, uh, friend, really likes y- this girl." He corrected, and I giggled."

He continued, not noticing.

"So, anyways, he likes her a lot...they've been friends for years..." His eyes twinkled, and I understood what he was saying, letting him continue.

"So....he thinks she's smart....beautiful....funny.... irresistible....perfect.....sweet....tough....everything he's ever wanted."

I smiled.

"But....she only seems to think of him as a friend."

My eyes shined, and I smiled bigger.

"So...what's a guy to do? He maybe even.....loves her." He looked at me with a soft expression in his face, letting me know "He" really did love "her".

"Well....he could start with this." I leaned up, and kissed him.

He felt surprised, then gradually kissed me back.

"I love you, too, idiot."

He smiled, not caring about the insult, leaning his forehead against mine, cupping my cheek and kissing me again.
By now, everyone was watching and cheering. But we didn't care, we just kept kissing.
And it was truly the best kiss we've ever had....so far.
