Thanks! I spent an entirely unjustified amount of time on this ref, haha. I'm glad you like that facet of it! The bird aspect of them has always been important to me, before they allowed them as birds in breeding pics I had a whole canon reason (drank out of a magic shape-shifting horse's pool) for them to turn into birds at my stable.
