EDIT: I just learned that silver dapple foals are way lighter at birth then the chocolate color I originally depicted here. They're actually wheat colored at birth - like oatmeal. Then they darken as they get older. I've color corrected this image to reflect that. As an adult he is still the chocolatey brown I originally colored him as. The change makes him look a little odd but this was just his baby coat. And actually this would have made it much harder to see the stripes so they were probably an interesting surprise as he grew and he shed out his light and fuzzy baby coat to a smoother darker color.
