I DID NOT SCULPT THIS. Model WS Mustang is (c) 2004 to Safari Ltd., Miami, FL. It was even already a blue roan with a star. I just personalized it.

I realized the eyes were just the color of the body, so I painted them brown/amber. Then I painted a pupil and highlight. I also defined the star (it was just a soft round spot before). Then I used acrylic gloss to put a shine on the eyes, inside of the nostrils, hooves, mane, and tail.

I had already offered to mail it to Rebecca, but wanted to make it extra special (so that she couldn't just go pick her own up at a store ). When I picked out this model, it was for me. I went through all the mustangs (they were all blue roans) until I found one with no scuffs or scratches. I liked the model because the head was so refined and the anatomy was nearly flawless. I bought it before I knew *WrathOfNessis or her beautiful horse Soquili. But after his death, my model seemed to fit him perfectly.

Just as a tribute to a wonderful horse that made owning a mustang even more worthy of pride. Thanks for all you have done for me, Becca. I value your friendship so much, and hope you will cherish your mini-Soquili (just send me your address in an email.) Much love.
