From the very moment Butcher describes him for the first time in Storm Front, I always envision Eric Roberts' portrayal of Boss Moroni in The Dark Knight. This is interesting for two reasons; The similarity in names and the characters' job descriptions and the fact that this picture could indeed pass as a portrait of Eric Roberts' portrayal of Moroni.

Have you considered adding a little bit of colour into this portrait? Just the eyes in this one would look amazing. 'His eyes were the faded green of dollar bills and as opaque as mirrors.'

own I have to say this is my least favorite of the dresden files drawing you have done.

I don't know this is the only one that doesn't match the picture in my head that Marcone is.

Very nice. I always kinda pictured him looking like Eric Roberts at least a bit, so this is pretty fitting for my head!canon. Right amount of interpretation

I love it. This is how I'm going to be picturing Marcone when I read these books now. Unless someday they actually manage do the books justice in a movie or TV show. They totally killed the books with their first attempt there. About the only thing I'd change (if I could draw that well) would be to color in his eyes for like EnigmaOfTheRoses it's always the first thing I think of when I see/hear him.

Superb rendering of Johnny here. I especially like the way you did his eyes, they seem to almost glow with that cunning crime-lord intelligence, and not to mention they really draw the eye. Excellent work.

He's always been a character I've had trouble envisioning, and considering how Marcone's eyes are constantly being referred to as a key aspect of his, you had quite the task set before you. I'll say this, you did not disappoint.
Dig the texture in his tie btw.

You know, same here. I have a tough time picturing him and wasn't too happy with the result on this one... BUT I am so glad it turned out okay, my critical eye aside.
