Description
Kraven had trained for weeks in preparation for his hunt of Sue Richards. To help further enhance his already superior senses he wore a blindfold. While he couldn't see his invisible prey he would be able to hear her, smell her, feel her body heat, sense her very movement through the air.

Dazzler was the opposite end of the visual spectrum but the blindfold approach still applied. While the Invisible Woman could hide from plain sight the Dazzler could steal it with her pyrotechnic illuminations. So his other senses had to be brought to play.

Of course he discovered his hearing was next to useless regarding the mutant. When he tracked her through the forest he noted that all the sounds had been muted. The rumors of how her powers worked were obviously true.

And when she decoyed him with that damnable hologram he deduced she could somehow sense his approach by the sound of his footsteps. So when he finally made it across the river and again picked up her so easy trail he decided to travel via the tree tops. Hoping she would be too focused on footsteps and not the brushing of branches.

It worked. He, at last, caught up with her as she was in the process of relieving herself. He reached into his backpack and pulled out the extra thick blindfold and one other item. He then jumped from the tree to land stealthily onto the ground. No doubt she'd hear him and react accordingly.

Which she did.

Dazzler, not knowing about his eye protection, pressed herself against her tree hoping he wouldn't spot her. She was planning on taking him by surprise by hitting him with a dazzleburst that would leave him seeing spots for hours. Then she'd grab her ration bag and hightail it out of there. Backtrack to the river and cross over again. Putting more distance and time between her and her stalker.

But before she could even so much as glimmer she heard an odd "whirring" sound and then suddenly found herself bound to the tree by a bola.

Dammit! He got HER by surprise after all.
