DavekatKarkat quickly sat up with red candy colored tears flowing down his face and his body shivering in fear. This was the fortieth time this month that he had waken up from a nightmare. Each nightmare was growing worse from the last; it was driving him insane. Then he was having these hallucinations of his friends’ dead bodies and their blood everywhere. He blamed the many restless nights he’s had.
Karkat used the sleeve of his shirt to wipe away his tears. He was thinking of waking up the human that slept two bedrooms down but he couldn’t bring himself to do it. Last time he did so, the human ignored him and went back to sleep.
