nah, man, there's a heavy line before karkat is considered 'too much of an ass' c: i think you're in the good! i think the worst of it is people who make him flat and purely angry. he has no alterior motives, only to be mad at everyone all the time :/

I tend to make my Karkat more emotional and ik some people disagree with that. I feel like Karkat would have a hard life with his blood and leading. I would see him hurt in pain. I would see him torture himself with his self loathing. I even once thought he would cut himself to get out his emotions without as much crying. I still make him act like a ass but not as much in his thoughts.

dude, yeah o: i usually make him angry because he's frustrated over having so much on his shoulders. like.. that's a lot of stuff. a lot. he was the reason the kids' game had cancer, he's the reason everything went wrong, he failed as a moirail and gamzee went on a killing spree (and now he's dead), he forced himself into the role of leader and everyone except for him and tz have died, plus he set everything into motion killing all of the lusii, still has to deal with "visions" from his past life, then he's a bleeding heart romantic.. ouch e_e to have all of that and still inevitably holding out for quadrants that he doesn't have time/patience to maintain. it's just kind of a big deal lol

hehe it's an apocalypse AU where he's with a small group of survivers after things start settling down a bit. his (zombified) matesprit Sollux used to carry the camera around everywhere and of course that's back when life was good so when he rewatches it, he gets all.. sad :c
