Description
"I’m the Avatar, you gotta deal with it."
Fully modeled and textured Korra from the “Legend of Korra” series on Nickelodeon. Using her Book Four design as you can see.
Not entirely satisfied with how the head and hair turned out but I’m very content with the body. May very well continue playing with the head.
Any way I am very happy that managed to find the time to finish this before the Book Four finale. May try a Kuvira next.
Made in Autodesk Maya, zBrush, and Photoshop.
UPDATE: Played around with the head a fair amount. It's still not quite perfect but I think the eyes in general are much better than they were before. Played around with the body and legs a bit as well but I don't think the changes would be noticeable without seeing the wireframes. For my convenience really. But yeah, I think I'm gonna have to call her done. Should start up a new model.
The Finale was awesome BTW.

Hehe, Thanks. She turned out pretty decently when all is said and done. Sometimes I wonder if the time would have been better spent on an original character. Lol

Thank you, I think just going back over the eyes from the original upload did a lot for her.
I for one was immensely satisfied. Just hit all of the right notes for me and while I hope the franchise will one day continue I think I would be content if this was the end of all things Avatar.

Face looks more derp than anything else. More grim or fierce expression would help.

That may definitely assist but I feel it's more that the eye lids aren't wrapping around the eyes in the way I want them too. Another zBrush session should assist in both regards.
