This is super amazing those hills are really something else, I just wish those birds were more photographic and less icons to match the style of the mountains, I think it would go better. That's just me though.

I have been thinking about revisiting this piece about those birds. The birds gives balance to the picture, but they are iconic in nature. I will play around with some birds this week and see if I can replace them.

Time time and more time with time that goes with time and totally time with more time on top of time. I think this piece took me a month and a half.

Yep yep, take a close look at the mountains, where the smaller details are hiding, is the full mountainside again but slightly different.

I usually don't even like figurative fractals but wow, this is great. Having the sun as a semi-circle instead of showing the full thing is kind of a stroke of genius, composition-wise. And the folded mountain textures strike just the right balance of realism and fractally fantasy imagery.


The only quibble I have is that I think it might look a little better without the birds, which seem slightly out of place to me, but it's not a huge detraction. They are still worked in better than most people work in their figurative elements.
