Description
The Heart fighter is a multi role extremely versatile platform designed to operate in and out of atmosphere. It is equipped with 6 integrated torpedo tubes (anti starship torpedoes), (three on each side) and 4 swarmer missile pods (two on each side). The fighter also features a twin barreled nose cannon, and an ASELPOD (Advanced Targeting Pod Electro-Optical Reconnaissance, Surveillance and Targeting System). There is also a concealed bomb bay door on it's belly, so precision strikes against ground targets are possible. At the back of the main body there are 16 hexagon shaped tubes, that can fire decoys against incoming missiles. The fighter also features four small dents behind the cockpit which are shield generators capable of projecting multi layered shields around the fighter craft. The fighter craft have normal (sub light) engines, and (FTL) engines integrated, and are thoroughly armored, with the craft possessing the ability to jump to FTL without it's carrier mother ship, field commanders have more flexibility and able to retreat from battle, saving valuable time, because all of it's fighter complement can cover the mother ship's retreat then immediately jump after it. The Lady Ebdon carrier (3000 meters long) can carry 4096 Heart fighters in her twin hangars.
