Hey there!
First of all I want to thank everyone that wish me a Happy Birthday!
I didn't answer you all yet (but I will I promise) because I got no time. But I'm letting you know I notice and you guys are the best! 
Since we're talking about birthdays, let's talk about this drawing!
This is a birthday present for
I gave it to him today (actually it was yesterday, it's already 00:31 in my country) and he loved it!
He's one of the craziest fans of Rihanna I have ever seen. Very freaky!!! He even wants to paint his hair to red!
I try my best with this drawing and I really like the final result I just hate the fact that you can see how it looks for real!
I said it before and I say it again: My scanner hates me!
About it:
Done with graphite pencils (H, HB, 2B, 3B, 8B);A4 size of paper;Tortillon used;Reference from Essence Magazine;I've to go it's getting late! Love you all!
And if I can't draw anything else until there... I wish you now: Merry Christmas!

You're such an amazing artist, that I fell flatered by your compliments.
I personally don't think this drawing is that good. I don't like the hair, either the fingers...
And the skin has that contrast because I drew it on the wrong side of the paper.
I loved your advices for the skin. You know, the crosshatch thing and blend it 3-4 times. That's so what I wanted to hear.
So if you don't mind I would like to ask you several more questions(? could you? 
- Which pencils do you use often on the skin face?
- In your pencil portraits, do you use any kind of charcoal pencil? or pure graphite?
- Do you use mechanical pencils? If so, which?

- Your drawings are detailed do you draw in A3 or +A3 or do you also draw in A4?

Well, this drawing really is that good. I'm sure many would envy your skill, and the result of this drawing. It came out great.
-I use an HB, 0.5 mechanical pencil for the face.
-I only use a white charcoal pencil if I'm ever going to use charcoal on a graphite drawing. Just for minor highlights or details. I used it for the eyes and skin on my "Freckles" drawing
-I use mechanical pencils for 90% of my drawings. HB is what I use, and it's 0.5 size.
-Most of my drawings are 14x17" or larger, so it's A3+

you use only HB mechanical pencil? only for 90%?
that's so incredible! I complicate the drawings so much I have so much variaty of pencils around me!

Yes. HB is really versatile and you can blend it so easily, rather than having to worry about what pencils to use. It makes it so much less confusing. I used to use so many pencils and then I tried out just using one, and it worked so much better and I got more comfortable just using the one pencil.

This is amazing! Though I could see some minor details a hair off from the original such as her mouth being closed more in your drawing than the actual photo and the eye makeup is a little more dramatic ,I have to disagree with certain parts of the critique... Her head/hair REALLY is that big and round, her fingers are actually very slim... Wonderful work !!
