I would like to thank SilverZeo for commenting on my Simpsoms/War of Light drawings, which gave me the idea for this pic.Overall, I think it came out pretty good. The sign on Homer's butt was a last minute add-on that I was glad I thought of. I figured Homer had to have a reason to go after Bart, and this is totally something he would do. ...Come to think of it, he probably has. lol.

Yeah, but to me, Homer's selfishness comes from his ignorance. He's usually unaware he's hurting anybody, because keep in mind, he's not a very bright guy.

To me, Homer's selfishness should come from genuine ignorance. He is unaware that his actions hurt others because he is not the brightest of people.

Except for when Bart, Flanders, or whoever get under his skin, I don't think Homer is necessarily an angry guy. However, Moe is kind of a sad and lonely person. The type that would bottle up his frustrations, eventually coming out in unhealthy ways. At least that is my reasoning for picking him for Red Lantern.
Homer as a GL was more of a joke on how desperate the Corps must be to fill spots by giving him a power ring.

The WIDE LOAD gag echoes a scene in one of the Sideshow Bob episodes where among the death threats he sent Bart, is one that is a forgery ! It was written by Homer when he found a words WIDE LOAD written on his behind by Bart ! I was LOL !
