Been a seriously crazy month. No time to get back into the art until now.Here's a giant parasite for you all.
Although I'm not sure our little hero is going to win this one. Talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight...Hope you like it! Feels good to be back at it.

What does a parasite in that size infect? Even if that is a full adult and juveniles are smaller, the kids would probably be huge!Β

Well this is INSANE. The amount of detail put into this is incredible.
I really like how the background and scenery really go well with the beastie, like it all fits together. I love all the teeth and spines, and how the light from the flames is reflecting on the foremost teeth. Awesome little affect. I also think it looks really well where you've added splashes of red and blue on the creature, as secondary coloring, especially at the bottom, to keep the blues/greys/black from just muddling all together, and it also gives it a really crisp feel. All the little veins and lumps and tissues look so fantastic, this piece is just. Bah, amazing work.

I think he actually has a good chance BECAUSE it's so huge.
In this kind of mach-up he's a bit like a poisonous spider. Β Sure,we could easily smash a spider should we put our mind to it, but the spider, if venomous enough, can kill us easily too should it get in the right position to bite you. Stack that atop the fact that they're small enough to either avoid our notice or sneak themselves into places we can't reach, and you have an interesting matchup on our hands.
Plus, he could always do a kratos and murder it from within.
