Just curious... don't take this the wrong way or anything, just want to know your opinion on it, as to how an anticlimax is inevitable? I mean a pilgrimage I believe, is something of great power, a journey that one goes on and does a whole bunch of stuff and learns a great deal... I'm curious as to where the inevitable anticlimax comes into it for you? I mean do you see it as when you return home and all the stuff that you left behind when you went on your pilgrimage slapping you in the face... Or do you see it at midpoint? Where you reach that place you have been journeying to and it doesn't have the effect on you that you thought it would? Or?
I don't see an anticlimax as inevitable result from a pilgrimage... I mean sure it's possible if you built up a fantastic dream world as to what the pilgrimage was going to be, but it's not inevitable...
And then from a different philosophical perspective is an anticlimax even possible? For does the journey ever end? And if it never ends...? But yeah, a bit silly now....
But yes, still just wondering you're opinioney thing? I'm curious cause I feel maybe I'm missing the point... Although I just don't see an anticlimax as being inevitable? It's possible maybe, but that's only if you see the journey as something with a beginning middle and end rather than as a progression. ?
I do love the painting itself, there is this real subtle beauty to it that only really came to me as I looked at it for a while, and it grew as I looked and things came... You have an amazing style that I love...

Great work. The colors are incredible as is the texture, and the look on the faces definitely helps to emphasize an anticlimax.
