Woah, you do talks? That's sweet. I have to admit: I haven't been doing any photography lately. I really got into in the summer but school sucks and eats all my will power... = (

haha yeah, I do all the head shots there and go in and talk to each class and teach them about photo shoots and such : ) Its a lot of fun.
Yeah, school def can make art hard unless thats what your there for! Its the reason I didnt get my masters. Even though I would be going for photo I was sick of having to make art for teachers and not myself.

That's like me and piano. I finished grade 10 and I'm not doing ARCT. Mandatory practice for two years is so lame. I just want to learn what I want to learn now.
So I definitely respect your decision!
That's cool that you have a job you enjoy. Assuming that's your job. = )

Yeah, well I kind of just started rocking the boat after 2 years. I simply made my art, what I wanted to make for the most part, and just found assignments that they "fit" (or again... i could force them to fit) for. It cause some problems but I was happier with my work that way.
Yep, photos pay the bills. its not a bad gig! Although I still work at Starbucks part time for health insurance ... yey U.S.
