Okay, not as naughty as I had intended to do, but still with more skin than I usually do. Also, I tried something new with this piece. Same colouring style, but I tried to refine it a little, so it wouldn't be as 'out of the lines' as a few of my other pieces were.

That's one thing that always pisses me off in pro comics, when colourists and letterers go outside the lines. You're being paid to do a job, you should do it well. Like pencillers and inkers doing the cut and paste trick. For backgrounds and certain poses, I think it's an acceptable time saver, if you can't afford to redo the scene. But when a foreground character was striking a pose, and then in the next panel they're still in the same pose when the mood's supposed to be changing, it's just an eye sore.

Anyway, I'm back to my fave team again. I know I said i would vary my work, but now I say screw it, every so often I'm going to see if I can find something Tom inked that Marcio drew. Who cares if I'm colouring things by the same artists, this is deviantArt and here you do whatever the hell you want. You show off what you want people to see and you do it because you can.

So I'm going to find more works by Marcio Abreu, Tom Schloendorn, Jim Lee, Scott Williams, Steve Epting and whoever else is really fucking awesome. Want to know why? Because I want to!
