Lovely capture! I think this flower is very often ignored and taken for granted.
i was just trying to explain queen annes lace to my husband the other day, i'll be sure to show him this one when he wakes up i was also telling him about how no one back home believes me that it's a wild carrot...

Thank you Sarah!

I agree... lots of people view wildflowers as weeds and not really flowers. I think they are beautiful and the fact that they are as nature intended them and not hybridized or cultivated for sale is all the more reason to enjoy them. Nothing quite as lovely as a field of wildflowers in the morning sun. As for people not believing it is a carrot, again things seen as weeds hold no interest for most folks and they have no desire to learn more about them. I understand that despite the bad smell of the plant the young carrots are actually quite tasty. I'll have to dig some up sometime and see for myself.

Very dainty flower, looks like a flower that one would use in a wedding arrangement. Very pretty.

Pleasure sweetie. I wish we had flowers like this along the roadside, I'd pick some and have them in a vase, they're really pretty.

Understood - getting up and not going to work is hard! Unless you consider raising teenagers work... sorry - my pessimism seems to be showing...

Raising teens is most certainly work and often more stressful than the job but the rewards will continue long after the task is completed.
