People have always copied images and used them on their personal websites... it's wrong but never bothered me too much.
Nowadays with all the sites for posting your work and selling prints and other products I think differently. I've seen lots of other peoples work posted elsewhere sometimes even with the name and watermark left on. And a lot of people have done journals mentioning the problem. My work is not of the caliber that I expected to see ripped but I have seen quite a few. I sell very few prints here and I feel pretty strongly about the possibility of my work being sold elsewhere without my permission and without compensation.
I mean it's bad enough that someone is claiming the image as their own work but that they should profit from it is just nuts! I will be adding watermarks and this copyright notice to all my work both old and new.
