Actually the blue and the yellow lightning is very well placed, because the warm colour attracts attention to the center. The red on the other side gives it an interesting eye-focus which is switching a bit. Good job

Meh if it ain't broke don't fix it. I've got CS2 and i use that most of the time now. I had CS3 but it kept crashing, think the copy i had was a bit dodgy. I'll upgrade some time but right now it doesn't bother me

the building at the far left, the contours look very promising... The blue and stuff... a shame you places a brush over it, you should try to built on those contours, they'd make a magnificent frontside for a building
