Description My second color drawing. I realized that I don't have enough color pencils to draw match up the reference picture. So I added some of my own colors to replace it. I only have a set of 12. I should probably get a set of 36 later. I had fun drawing this one. Unlike graphite, colors have more freedom and fun. By the way, the car is moving, if you can't tell. Still need more practice.

Car: 4 door Honda Civic.

Media: Pencil, Color pencil, pen, eraser, cotton stick.

Time: 10 Hours.

Size: A3

Hope you guys will like it.

Enjoy.

Total coolness! I love this composition with the "in your face" look to it. The direction of shading on the ground helps with the drama and the illusion of speed. Having a limited palette is no fun, but you made the most out of what you have. And even when we try to make photorealistic drawings and paintings, there is still room for our own interpretations. We do not want to be a slave to our reference photos...we want to use them to help make our artwork better. You did a really good job on this!

Well I like the drawing! I think you did great on the shading.
Just one thing - the angle of the rear wheel looks a bit strange to me ?!

I wouldn't say I drew that back wheel like that on purpose. Yea it is off if you look at it. When I was drawing it, it felt comfortable tilting that way haha. I wanted to create the effect of left side being sucked in space. I guess it didn't work out haha. Thanks for the comment!
