I decided to take part in Inktober this year... but I'm doing things a little differently.

I found a neat list of prompts on Twitter, posted by a user who goes by the handle "Unaffiliated Skeleton", who writes, "With October fast approaching, I thought it’d be fun to make one of those month long prompt lists, but with buff stuff in mind." Here's his "Beeftober" list:

1. Flex 2. Arms 3. Vein 4. Lift 5. Grind 6. Chest 7. Shiny 8. Fur 9. Sequence 10. Juice 11. Overgrown 12. Drink 13. Tense 14. Crunch 15. Leg day
16. Cheat 17. Tank 18. Light 19. Crush 20. Core 21. Wings 22. Hammer 23. Break 24. Bar 25. Shredded 26. Pump 27. Scale 28. Beef 29. Champion
30. Cosplay 31. Monster (in homage to Hallowe'en, I imagine)

I'll admit, my first impulse for Day 1 was a drawing of Tetsuko hitting one of her signature double-biceps poses, but Day 2's prompt is "Arms", and that's a better day for that drawing. (And I didn't want to repeat a pose two days in a row.) So I went with a redraw of this drawing from (gasp!) 1999, because it's a pose I haven't drawn often. (In fact, I think this might be only the second time I've drawn it!) And since Tetsuko stars in Day 2, I decided to have Satin Steele kick off Inktober/Beeftober 2021.

And yes, this post is a day late. I meant to post this yesterday, but I had such trouble posting a link to two new pages of Tetsuko, i figured to reduce my frustration level, and post both day 1 and Day 2 today. After today, I hope to post each days sketch on that day; but if you want to make sure to catch each drawing as soon after it's finished as possible, follow me on Twitter (at)dcm_artist . My goal is to post each day's sketch there about 11:00 AM (EDT).
