My contribution to theme "Super Disney: Disney babes as superheroines".What if the Prince's kiss did more than simply awaken Snow White from her deathlike trance? In some strange way that the forensic sorcerers are still arguing about, Prince Charming's psychic essence somehow combined with the Wicked Queen's potion (in ways even the Queen could not have imagined) to endow Snow with super powers!
So just envision Snow White crossed with Wonder Woman, and you've got the idea. She can fly, she possesses incredible strength and high resistance to injury - powers she uses in her battle against evil in her kingdom.
I actually had an idea for an entire team of "super Disney heroines", the "Princesses of Justice!" Jasmine was a Red Sonya-style warrior woman, Ariel a strongwoman in the mold of She-Hulk, etc. But I just didn't have the time to draw more than one figure.

It's about 2:30 am here, so I'll have to remember this theme and maybe get back to it. It's a wonderful idea, and could be a chance to even join one of the Deviant Art groups.

I thought about this, and it sounds like a fascinating idea. I hope you find time to continue this theme. In case you didn't, I started with a drawing imagining Sleeping Beauty as a Batman-type superhero. If I ever post one, I'll be sure to give you credit for inspiring this.

Okay first, your secret origin ROCKS. Second, this drawing and idea is WAY frikin awesome!!!!!! Thank goodness you put it in color too otherwise it wouldn't deliver the idea with the same punch, great coloring btw. And Third; Princesses of Justice..? DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must see that!!
p.s. brainstorm: add the fairy in peter Pan as the small Wasp type. No alterations, just show up as she is I'd say lol. Or she makes her pixy dust explode jubilee does. This is WAY awesome, here's hoping you bring the rest to life!!

BTW, if you want to see a real-life snow white like you never see, watch "7 Zwerge". It's a german film. I don't think it has been translated yet ... It is a VERY funny film, thought.

"I went over to the site that held the Disney Princesses as super heroines contest to check out the other entries. They had one with Aurora from Sleeping Beauty portraying Batman's foe Two-Face. For some reason I can't explain, that picture creeped me out more than any horror villian or cinema slasher I can recall. I have to admit, Herr Matthews, you were up against some serious competition..."

Interesting concepts...somehow Cinderella as a magical girl heroine comes to mind too

Strangely, Cinderella was the only princess I couldn't get a handle on as a super.
See, I'd even noodled out some "rationales" (so to speak, so of a quasi-origin) for most of the others. The Snow White story is in my comments, of course.
-Jasmine, I decided, took up the study of the fighting arts after a sneak attack on Agrabah by a nearby kingdom they'd considered an ally; she becomes a Red Sonya-like master of combat armed and unarmed.
-Triton's kingdom is attacked by a race of fishmen (they look kind of like a mutant cross between anglerfish and humans) from the "Forbidden Trench", prompting Ariel to sneak into her father's chamber and use his magic trident on herself, giving her superhuman strength, near-total invulnerability, and the ability to transform her tail into human legs and back at will.
-Long-lived though they may be, fairies are not immortal; so when the time came for Flora, Fauna and Merryweather to depart this plane of existence, they bequeathed their magical powers to their beloved Princess Aurora... who quickly discovered that the fairies had been using only a fraction of their awesome powers! Aurora becomes one of the most powerful magic-users ever. I say "one of", because the evil Maleficent has discovered a way to return from the dead...
-I didn't quite have an impetus for her doing so, but I even had Belle using her knowledge (and her father's inventing skills) to fabricate for herself a mecha (like something out of Bubblegum Crisis), a "mobile suit" she could wear that was bristling with weapons, etc.
Sadly, once I got to Cinderella, I couldn't think out anything that didn't seem like I was repeating something I'd already done for the others.

Hmm, maybe something along the lines of Cinderella becoming a Batman type character. She finds out her step-mother and step-sisters were complicit on the murders of her real parents, and vows revenge.

I actually like the Belle one...somehow though I could also imagine a couple "minor" heroines...but then again my imagination is silly compared to yours.

This looks really well done DCM! But I can't help wondering how the OTHER Disney princesses would look like if they were all "hulked" out, maybe even a bit more muscular than snow white!
