Study of a piece by Jimmy Duvauchelle. ''Take me Away'' is not the original title, but that's the one that I feel for this piece. Made for Sabrina.I was worth doing it just to see you happy.

At first glance this is nice!
Then I studied the light sources and there is one contradiction (IMHO) in the upper waist line (on her right hand side). There is two light sources...one behind her to the right and upper right hand corner. Normally that would make the shaded area on the front waist line. Yet, there is another light source coming from left hand side that shines on the back of legs and her right arm....and the legs indicate is above her body (noting her hair)...the upper shaded area of her waist should not be as dark as it would have this second noted light source shining there also.
If one light source is shown on the right hand side in blue tones...why not on the left hand side if the intensity is the same in the lighting effects on the figure?
It is a beautiful study!

Very interesting, ive been looking at your gallery and i would like to make a suggestion, you rarely use extreme light areas that create high contrast like this piece, i think you should start incorporating more light effects in to your pieces to give them a more dramatic effect, you have the even lighting condition down now lets see some more shadows!

i really like this, especially how you used contrasting shadows and highlights, forming flowing curves that don't reveal too much.
(not that revealing "too much" is a bad thing, but it was a wise choice in this case to leave some to the imagination.)

but the shape of the body is pretty spot on the lightings pretty cool aswell how you've manged to capture the emotion in the picture and be able to show the form of the body just buy using a little amount of light
