Description here's some work in progress for my new Daenerys artworks and a sample of all the tools I use. It's also important to have a paper that 'take' markers well, you do not want too much bleeding and just enough to make great shading and blending.
I use smooth bristol/strathmore.
My personal sketch cards are made of something very similar and printed by 'Versicolor'. Some are pure white while others have a light tan into them

tool used--)
Bruynzeel design aquarel (linings, erase well, will blend with marker)
marker : Touch, Promarker (area, blending)
colored copic multiliner SP 0.05 ans 0.03 (detail)
prismacolor verithin (detail)
prismacolor premier (use over dark surfaces for highlights or to enlight a part that has been darkened to much with markers)
copic white
precision brush
eraser (erase and absorb small pencil fragments that can get in the way of markers)
gold or silver liner
Stabilo-all surface, very useful
pencil extension

Ah here it is! So you do work on 2.5x3.5" then? I find it so fascinating to see what other's eyes see and what other's minds understand through the observation of their works of art. You have a very profound understanding of light. I'm sure your illustration process is just as detailed and complex. I appreciate good art when I See it. Very nice work.

The art work is impressive but the way you get there is more....
I would truly love to see a tutorial on this process... I dying to learn new skills and methods.
