Concept of Pyrrha for the upcoming Eclipse Comic adaptation I'm working on. It's a little way off, still learning how to do comics properly, in fact if anyone has any tips, I'd greatly appreciate it!Related content

I just noticed something: the red around her legs is designed to call back to her sash, but the trim on it reminds me of Cinder's dress....

amazing art work though if I have any criticism it'll be that her feet feels too tiny and her thighs are a little.... too far away from each other? I dunno but overall it's awesome

Yeah, you know I totally agree with that. One of those things I noticed, tried to fix and just couldn't without having to pretty much start all over from the waist down... and I was tired of it by that point haha.

Cheers buddy! I'm actually working on turning Eclipse into a Comic. I want to visually see it, not just write it, you know? I think it'll be fun to do, and I want to teach myself how to do comic strips so it'll be a learning curve for me too.

Thank you! And Eclipse's comic form will be a rewrite of the story, but on a more... I suppose the word is cinematic level? I dunno, what I mean is, it won't be pages upon pages of hanging out at Beacon, more about the core plot, you know? What I've written on Fanfiction so far has been fluff and filler to get people interested in reading it, before getting to the plot. I struggle to explain what I mean, so if you don't follow, just ask me to do a better job explaining haha.

yeah I get it; correct me if I'm wrong eclipse was the filler and build up (and things were happening *cough* *cough* RT) but the comic will be more focused on the plot right? kinda like Soundwave. and I assume we'll still see them recover?

Fanfic will probably end there, I do have another chapter already written, but I struggle proof reading, the main problem I have with writing. It may come out in the future, I'm just weighing up if I have the time to proof read it.
Comic will follow the main plot of the story I had in mind overall - after the fic's recovery period. Basically the second act of the fic was going to be the main plot point of the whole story, act one was introductory and tidying up their feelings and wounds.

To be fair, I was enjoying the immediate fallout of the Beacon attack, especially Pyrrha's unwitting hand in starting it. Will any of Act One be adapted into comic form?

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much! I do totally plan to add those elements into the comic - most probably flashbacks or story telling to other characters. I'm working on taking the aspects I am most proud of and what people enjoyed the most and working that into a feasible and interesting story with a beginning, middle and end, something I felt Eclipse's written version lacked.

The biggest thing you'd have to explain is the change in Milo from sword/spear/rifle to Penny tribute. That one you pretty much cannot leave out. Tot be honest, if Act One was a series of unconnected stories focused around RWBY and JNPR healing from the Invasion, then I could see you skipping it in comic form, but the overarching plot of dealing with Jaymes Ickford isn't something lightly explained in flashback. It sounds like it'd take up the equivalent of a mainstream comic book issue at minimum.

Oh I definitely agree, and I was thinking over this the other day, and I need to wrap up act one as a written piece, then continue with act two onward in comic form. It makes a lot more sense and will be tidier overall. Thanks for giving me genuine feedback as well, helps a lot!
