Even though it debut on the Adult Swim app, I just watched Genndy Tartakovsky's Primal and oh my god it was awesome but horribly brutal at the same time! Spoiler warning, Spear the Caveman and Fang the Tyrannosaurus Rex team up after tragically losing their families to a pack of...Ceratosauruses, but...not quite because they have two finger digits instead of four so...I'll call them the Ceratotyrannus pack until further notice (also we saw 3 out of 4 of them get killed so what happened to the one with three small nose horns is anyone's guess, maybe killed off screen). So it's throwing all prehistoric accuracies out the window, or over the cliff in this case, these two fight for survival against all sorts of prehistoric adversaries including some made up just for the show like the giant bats and the giant spider. Another thing that I love is that it's 100% show don't tell, Genndy got a lot of positive feedback about Samurai Jack's moments of show don't tell, so he went all out with no dialogue on this show, Just caveman grunts and other beastly sounds.Primal belongs to Genndy Tartakovsky and Adult Swim
