I thought the picture looked a little darker, but I never would've thought it was a photo as opposed to a scan. I don't think a scan is necessary.
I like the closer shot, with the increased detail in the face and the hair. I think it turned out nicely.

Thank you, Eric. Well, being the perfectionist that I am, I had to scan it once my scanner was repaired, and upload the clearer image. But I am glad you liked the drawing regardless.Β
Doing a series such as this is interesting for many reasons, not the least of which is the process of keeping the pictures varied but complementary to one another. How many close-ups does one do? How many full figure poses? It's challenging but fun. And Jess puts her ideas into the proceedeings, too, which helps.Β

You're welcome.
Referring to it as a series made me think; have you ever added imagined elements to a live model drawing? I don't remember if I've seen you do it or not. What I mean is use the live model as a base but add other things to it to create like a theme or scene. For example, drawing the model but creating a fantasy outfit or a favourite character's outfit over top. Kind of like cosplay, but drawing the costume yourself rather than having to make it and have the model wear it.

Yeah, that's a fun one.
Hey, I don't know that. Maybe you used a toy rocket ship and action figures for the spacesuit and aliens.
That's cool. I look forward to seeing more from you, whether it be like this or not.

I'm amazed that such a small piece of fabric can hold such a big personality! A little uncomfortable for Jess? Love the drawing.
