Description Odd in it's appearance, the M3 played a critical role in halting Rommel's advance at Alam Halfa in August 1942. It was an American tank provided under Lend-Lease to the UK. (Another player asked what "Lend-Lease" was when I referred to my Sherman III as a "Lend-Lease Sherman" in World of Tanks the other day. It made my brain cry a little.)

Your information is a little flawed there. The M3 Lee was the lend-leased tank. The M3 Grant is the British modified variant. So while, by its basis, it's lend-lease, the modification is not.

I can do that. Looking to model one, or just like the Grant?

I plan on building one in the near future.....
either the Grant or the Lee, or both.
Plus, I have... or had relatives who built  them at the plants in Detroit. ( Ruins of the old plants are still there.. IF you know where to look )
