Description I have had a desire to shoot during a snow storm since I began the City Lights Series. This was my first opportunity. It was a challenge to shoot in 25 degree weather with snow falling even though it was light.

Model - danielle dv8 - she was a trouper...she is a very warm blooded girl from Texas so this was an extreme situation for her.

I had to delete this due to it being on the print for sale...sorry to all that made comments...please feel free to resubmit a comment and favorite...thanks...

Mr. Lawrence,
Wow, I think we've been on the same wave length this winter. Danielle is viciously tough and possesses so much to admire inside and out. The seductive pose seems to appear to attract all the street lamps to turn towards her in a voyeuristic way. A city with such concrete superiority seems to be challenged by an alluring human, baring human endurance and the intimidation factor of stamina. Seems the David/Danielle reclines victoriously to the Goliath/Concrete city. Bravo. p.s. love the phallic clock tower behind her breasts.

*did you happen to see the casting call I placed on MM?

Deepest admiration. -Narcissa

Thank you for your critique. I appreciate it very much. danielle dv8 was terrific to work with even though she hated being in the snow. I guess when you are a warm blooded person from a warm climate zone laying in the snow is extremely challenging. she did an amazing job...

I've always wanted to do this, but can't seem to find the models in this part of the country.. odd, you'd think country gals would totally go for this..

Lovely picture. I have fondness for any nude photgraphs with weather or nature. She looks so perfectly comfortable in the snow, although I'm sure it was a lot of work to pose in it.

Maybe you should send it to the Mayor's Office or to the person responsible for tourism...might drum up some additional people coming to Philly...

Holy flip... a 3 second exposure at f100...

I have never shot anything like this before... could a 1 second exposure and f200 done the same thing???

David... I really do enjoy your "City Lights" series!! It has given me a lot of inspiration!

The purpose for the ISO being at 100 is for tight pixels and the closed down aperture is for depth...the length of the exposure is to accommodate the natural light...I have shot images up to 30 seconds so 3 seconds is rather fast for me with my night photography...happy to inspire you...
