A little bit before christmas, I submitted a scrap that was the sketch of this work...I made this in soft pastels (a christmas gift from the lovely nezu from last year that I just recently got around to using ;_; ) and I made it for my mom for Christmas...yes, it has taken me about 3 weeks to put this up. In any case, she collects angels of various kinds (though always more the pretty/interesting ones, as opposed to random cheesy cutesy crap angels) so I thought i'd try to give her something a little unique to her collection. It's definately a different style of angel then she has, but she seemed to like it (but hey, she still has a crappy mother's day coffee mug I made her from elementary school, so it could just be the sentimental value more than any kind of aesthetic value.)....(("I spent my allowance money on Yu-gi-oh trading cards, and meat-flavored bubble-gum...."))

so yes, here it is in all its...um....splendor, I guess....

since she had to ask, i'll point out that the big blue glowing ball on her right arm is a Buckler...oh, and glow effects and translucencies? SO much freaking easier to do in photoshop >.<
